Design Exploration Phase
We highly recommend that you engage us to produce a preliminary design, from which we can produce very accurate estimates subject to structural approval from our affiliated engineers.
We can work to milestones, both in terms of design options and cost, and will give you an estimate of hours necessary to reach them as a guide. This approach keeps you in control of the design budget, affording as much flexibility as possible should you wish to explore a wider range of possibilities.
We are a design - build company. Our design service ranges from a simple hand-drawn scale sketch scheme to a full 3-dimensional CAD model. We prefer to discuss your requirements at our offices, the first meeting is free of charge. We charge £65 + VAT per hour for our design service. The design cost for each project is deducted from the cost of the timber frame when an order for the frame is placed with The Timber Frame Company.
