Carpentry

Our timber frame buildings are prepared in our workshop and yard, where all the joints are marked out and cut by hand. Every joint in the entire frame will have been assembled at least once before the frame is transported to site and erected. We employ traditional joinery techniques in preparing the oak pegged joints as well as the custom of carving carpenters marks in each member. It is our practise that the team of carpenters that cut the frame raises it on site.
